स्नेहा श्रेष्ठ एक नेपाली समकालीन कलाकार हुन् जो नेपालको बाल कला सङ्ग्रहालय सुरु गर्न र IMAGINE ह्यान्डल प्रयोग गरेर उनको भित्तिचित्र कलाका लागि सबैभन्दा प्रसिद्ध छिन्।

जीवनी

श्रेष्ठको जन्म काठमाडौँ, नेपालमा भएको थियो।[१] सन् २०१० मा गेटिसबर्ग कलेजबाट स्नातक तह गरेपछि, श्रेष्ठ बोस्टन, म्यासाचुसेट्समा सरेकी थिइन।[१][२] उनले सन् २०१७ मा, हार्वर्ड ग्रेजुएट स्कूल अफ एजुकेशनबाट मास्टर डिग्री हासिल गर्नु भएको थियो।[३][४] श्रेष्ठ हार्वर्ड विश्वविद्यालयको मित्तल साउथ एसिया इन्स्टिच्युटमा कार्यरत छिन्।[५][६]

उनको भित्तिचित्र कार्यको लागि उनको हस्ताक्षर "IMAGINE" हो, जुन उनको आमाको नाम अङ्ग्रेजीमा अनुवाद गरिएको हो।[१]

नेपाल बाल कला सङ्ग्रहालय

वल्र्ड लर्निङको सहयोगमा श्रेष्ठले सन् २०१३ मा नेपाल बाल कला सङ्ग्रहालय स्थापना गरेकी थिइन।[७][८][९]

आफ्नो भित्तिचित्र कार्यमा, श्रेष्ठले संस्कृत शास्त्रबाट प्रेरणा लिएर नेपाली वर्णमाला प्रयोग गर्छिन्।[५][१][१०][११] श्रेष्ठले यी कृतिहरूलाई क्यालिग्राफी र क्यालिग्राफीको पोर्टम्यान्ट्यु भनेकी छिन्।[१२]

उनले क्याम्ब्रिज र बोस्टनमा "फर क्याम्ब्रिज विथ लभ फ्रम नेपाल", "सया पत्री (द वन विथ ए हन्ड्रेड पेटल्स),"[१][१३] नर्थइस्टर्न युनिभर्सिटीमा "ज्ञान [१४] हो" सहित धेरै भित्ति चित्रहरू चित्रित गरिसकेकी छिन्।[१५] र काठमाडौँ, इस्तानबुल र बालीमा विश्वभर।[११][९]

उनले कलाकारको सामूहिक सङ्ग्रहको भागको रूपमा रिबोक लगायतका कम्पनीहरूका साथै TripAdvisor, Red Bull, र Boston craft brewery Aeronaut Brewing Company सँग पनि सहकार्य गरेकी थिइन।[२][१६]
